Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Draft: the bracketed details ([BUSINESS NAME], [CONTACT EMAIL], [CITY, STATE]) still need filling in, and this should be reviewed before launch.

Don't Watch ("the service") is operated by [BUSINESS NAME] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Don't Watch helps you study publicly available video lectures by generating questions from their transcripts and grading your answers with AI. Answers and grades are produced automatically and can be wrong; treat them as study aids, not as authoritative assessments.

2. Course content

Lectures, titles and thumbnails belong to their respective owners (for example the universities and channels that publish them). We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, those institutions or by YouTube. Videos are watched on YouTube; we link to them and do not host them.

3. Accounts

You need an account to answer questions. Keep your sign-in methods secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person; accounts may not be shared or resold.

4. Plans and payment

Paid plans (Pro and Power) are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance until cancelled. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and handles applicable taxes. You can cancel at any time from your account page; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Daily question limits apply per plan and reset at 00:00 UTC.

We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 14 days' notice by email.

5. Refunds

See the refund policy.

6. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, overload or scrape the service, bypass plan limits (for example with multiple accounts or automation), or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. Features and the course catalog may change.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; we'll notify you by email of material changes. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in [CITY, STATE] having jurisdiction. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL].
